Advertising Policy

Current advertising status

Backend Study Games does not currently run live advertising scripts. Any development ad placeholders are hidden on the production site unless an explicit environment flag enables them for review.

Placement principles

Future ads should be separated from game controls, answer choices, navigation, and leaderboard submission forms. Ads should not appear between a question and its available answers, and they should not shift active controls while a game round is in progress.

Ads must be visually distinguishable from educational content and site navigation. The site will not use misleading labels, fake download buttons, forced interstitials, or layouts that encourage accidental clicks.

Invalid traffic and incentives

Users should never be asked to click ads. Ad interactions must not be used to support the site, unlock content, improve a score, earn XP, appear on a leaderboard, or complete a game. Game scoring and local progress are independent from advertising.

Future Google AdSense use

If Google AdSense is enabled later, the privacy policy will identify Google as an advertising provider, describe advertising cookies and personalization choices, and explain any consent flow required for visitors in regions such as the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.
