Educational purpose

Backend Study Games is provided for learning and practice. It is not professional certification, hiring advice, legal advice, or security consulting.

Optional account and cloud continuity

Games and the challenge remain usable without signing in. Google is the only optional identity provider in V1.5. Signed-in users may confirm a first import and store their full learning state and review material in Cloudflare D1 for cross-device continuity. The experience remains local-first, and a network, sync, or D1 failure never blocks learning.

Account export provides learning data, validated challenge history, and owned-share metadata without auth or provider tokens. Confirmed account deletion removes cloud learning, review and challenge data, owned shares, provider account records, and authentication sessions. It does not erase learning stored locally in the current browser.

Challenge history and public sharing

Challenge history stores only validated result summaries; individual challenge answers are not sent or stored. Public sharing is explicit and opt-in. A public result contains only the tier, three dimension scores, and recommended path, and its link remains until revoked.

Anonymous revocation credentials remain on the creating device. Signed-in owners may manage their shares. Do not share or submit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or impersonating content through public links or display names.

Score submissions

Leaderboard submissions are optional. Do not submit abusive, impersonating, misleading, copyrighted, or personally sensitive display names. Leaderboards are lightweight and no guarantee is made that rankings are perfectly accurate.

Abuse prevention

Suspicious submissions may be limited, rejected, or removed. Basic hashes and optional rate limiting may be used to reduce repeated abuse. No account ownership is implied by a display name.

Advertising rules

The approved active Google AdSense loader is included sitewide, but V1.5 adds no real ad units. Users must not be asked to click ads, refresh pages to create ad impressions, or interact with ads to unlock content, earn XP, improve a score, or appear on a leaderboard. Learning is never gated by ads.

Future ads should be separate from game controls, answer choices, navigation, and submission forms. Ads are not part of the educational scoring model.

No payments

There are no payments or subscriptions in V1.5, and no purchase flow is part of this release.

Assets and content

Do not submit copyrighted assets, protected content, secrets, or sensitive personal data through any future feedback or upload feature.
